KCNC redesigned their top-of-the line brake calipers for 2010 and replaced the venerable CB1 with the all new C7. The CB1 was an amazingly light brake but was not quite stiff enough for heavier riders. By completely redesigning the calipers, KCNC managed to greatly increase the stiffness with a minimal 2 gram increase in weight.
