The Enve Composites (formerly Edge Composites) 65 clincher rim offers the same versatility as the Enve 45 rim with a more aerodynamic 65mm deep all-carbon construction. The 65 Clincher is Enve’s all-carbon, all-purpose deep section rim and the foil profile provides serious aerodynamic performance suitable for multiple race disciplines.
Very few clincher rims on the market can match the 65 rim's balance of aerodynamics, stiffness, low weight and durability. These rims were designed to excel on the race course while being durable enough to handle the rigors of everyday training.
The 65 Clincher’s all-carbon construction was designed with a 65mm rim profile to optimize aerodynamics while keeping the weight to 485g – impressive for a rim this deep. The carbon braking surface was designed to minimize and dissipate heat, while providing a considerably lighter rim than those with traditional alloy braking surfaces.
Enve’s proprietary molding process creates a spoke interface that permits higher tensions than most other carbon rims.
