of classified material; to build an exceptionally light frame that does not sacrifice in ride quality or handling, while boosting stiffnesses without resulting in a harsh ride - simply a raceworthy, superlight bike. Customizable geometries, tube
shapes and layups as well as paint jobs further allow to perfectly tailor a bike to
one’s personal wishes and requirements and thus take individualism to a new level.
The frameset as well as all components are 100% Made in Germany.
Laterally stiff, yet vertically compliant - the Alpha's seatstays feature a massively transverse-ovalized center section that is responsible to yield an exceptional level of comfort without sacrificing the least bit of stiffness or the frame's dynamics. Like that it is both suited for a fast criterium race as well as also long tours on unpaved surface. Details like the full carbon braking bridge , carbon dropouts or full carbon cable stops help to keep the weight as low as possible.
The Morpheus crankset offers the highest level of flexibility thanks to its modular design and sets new standards regards functionality and weight. Despite of its unmatched system weight of just 355 grams for the complete set including bearings (without cups), the Morpheus definitely has to be considered a heavyweight in the matter of stiffness and durability thanks to its oversized design and state of the art technology. Adjustable pedal inserts allow for an easy adaption of one's crank length and thus further boost the crank's flexibility.
Efficient power transfer - the Alpha features an oversized 85 mm wide bottom bracket shell with integrated bearings. The resulting wide bearing stance in combination with the Morpheus crankset results in a very stiff and durable bottom bracket area. Full carbon bearing seats with the absence of any metal ensure the lowest possible weight.
The chainstay bridge with embossed AX logo is both a reminiscence to traditional frame building and makes for a clean look as well as a factor to further enhance the rear end stiffness. The full carbon braze-in FD clamp is both compatible with standard as well as compact cranksets.
