Sure, you can get replacement OEM hoods for your levers, and be just like everyone else... Or you can show your personality and upgrade to Hudz. Not only are these hoods stylish, they also offer super-comfy ergonomics and a perfect fit.
There are two compounds to choose from: Original and SoftGrip. Original is most similar to the stock compound that comes on most levers, and a great all-purpose choice. The SoftGrip is a grabbier compound that offers more grip and is often the compound of choice for cyclocross. Hudz claims that the SoftGrip is 25% softer and provides 80% more grip than the Original.
We have five different hood styles that fit the following brake levers:
Campy Ergo v2: For use with all 9- and 10-speed Campagnolo Ergo systems made from 1997 to 2008 and Miche-branded Ergopower levers using the same body as above.
Campy Ergo v3: For use with all 10- and 11-speed Campagnolo Ergo systems made from 2009 on. Levers are noted in Campagnolo line as ErgoPower ULTRASHIFT.
Shimano Dura-Ace 7800: For use with 10-speed Shimano Dura-Ace systems in the 7800 series including 7800, 7801 and 7803 STI levers. Not compatible with 8- or 9-speed Dura-Ace.
Shimano Dura-Ace 7900: For use with 10-speed Shimano Dura-Ace systems in the 7900-series. Not compatible with any previous versions of Dura Ace levers.
SRAM: For use with 10-speed SRAM Double Tap systems including Rival, Force and Red.
