The Enve Composites (formerly Edge Composites) 45 clincher is one of the most versatile carbon rims available. Very few clincher rims on the market can match its balance of aerodynamics, stiffness, weight and durability. Enve’s 45 clincher is an excellent all-purpose rim, ideal for everyday training as well as uncompromised race day use.

Using all-carbon construction, the Enve 45 clincher was designed with a 45mm rim profile to optimize aerodynamics while reducing rim weight to a mere 440g. The carbon braking surface was designed to minimize and dissipate heat, while providing a considerably lighter rim than those with traditional alloy braking surfaces.

Enve’s proprietary molding process creates a spoke interface that permits higher tensions than most other carbon rims. This design dramatically improves nipple seating angles, which extends spoke fatigue life and wheel durability.
